1. Scope
This policy applies to everything you do with SiteInTen: your account, your published site, your forms and stored submissions, your newsletters, and any content you upload or send. It works together with our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited activities
You may not use SiteInTen to do, promote, or facilitate any of the following:
- Illegal activity, or content that is unlawful where you or your audience are located.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or sending to purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, or attempts to deceive people into revealing sensitive information.
- Malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
- Impersonation of any person, business, or organization, or false claims of affiliation.
- Fraud, scams, deceptive offers, fake stores, or misleading financial claims.
- Harassment, threats, hate, or content that promotes violence against people.
- Infringement of intellectual property or other rights, including copyrights and trademarks you do not own.
- Adult or sexually explicit content, where we choose to restrict it on the platform.
- Regulated or restricted goods and services where selling or promoting them is not allowed.
- Abusive automation, scraping of our systems, or attempts to bypass usage limits or security controls.
- Excessive storage or bandwidth use that degrades the service for others.
3. Email and newsletter rules
Good sending practices protect deliverability for the whole platform. When you send newsletters, you must:
- Only email people who have agreed to hear from you, and keep a basis for contacting them.
- Never upload purchased, rented, or scraped lists.
- Send honest, non-misleading messages with accurate sender information and subject lines.
- Honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
- Follow applicable email, marketing, and privacy laws.
4. Payment and compliance risk
Because SiteInTen relies on Stripe to process payments, we must be able to act on uses that create payment, chargeback, or compliance risk. Our payment processor maintains its own list of restricted and prohibited businesses, and activities that would violate those rules are not permitted on SiteInTen either. We do not copy any provider's policy, but we keep the ability to restrict risky uses so we, and you, stay in good standing.
5. Enforcement
If we believe an account violates this policy, or creates legal, security, or payment-processing risk, we may remove content, throttle or pause features such as sending, suspend the account, or terminate it. Where the situation allows, we will try to warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Serious or repeated violations may lead to termination without a refund, to the extent allowed by law.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe a SiteInTen site or newsletter violates this policy, please report it to us at support@siteinten.com so we can review it.
This is a plain-English starter policy provided for transparency. It is not legal advice and may be updated as SiteInTen grows. Please have your own advisor review anything you rely on.
